I understand the writer's submission guidelines state that Poetry will not be considered. However, when I search for poetry on Constant Content, I am directed to the heading, "Articles>General>Poetry". Under this heading there are poems and stories about poets, etc. The poems and stories under this heading are also listed with pricing information. Several have an indication that they have been downloaded. I am assuming here, that 'downloaded' means purchased.
My problem concerns my inability to also list poems, to be considered for purchase, under the "Articles>General>Poetry" heading. I have tried twice to submit a poem and each time it was rejected. I was referred to the writer's submission guidelines and noted the statement that poetry would not be considered. Why are there poems on Constant Content under the "Articles>General>Poetry" heading? How do these poems get past the vetting process? How do I properly submit my poems to be listed on Constant Content under the "Articles>General>Poetry" heading, so that they may considered for purchase?
Thank you.

Re: Rejected Article
I have received a reply to my questions from the Constant Content editor. I did not realize that Constant Content has not accepted poetry for over a year, and the the poems I read were submitted prior to the guidelines changes that prohibit new poetry submissions.

Re: Rejected Article
Yes, I was a little sad at that myself when I first joined, and then I sold a bunch on non-poetry-like (articles) submissions. Money is a sure way to turn that frown up side down.
Articles sold here, which still have your name on them when published is an excellent way to build up a writing portfolio. Never again can a publisher just say, "But you're not published anywhere." You just send in a list of those publishing accomplishments along with your author's bio.
Keep writing the poetry though. While some may say there are too many "poets" in the world, I say that's bull. There aren't enough real poets in the world.
