Writer Biography

I am writer and researcher with 12 years experience. My accomplishments include publication in "Family Chronicle" magazine, Top 500 writer at Yahoo! and extensive online publication at Examiner, Demand Studios, and Every Day Health. I hold a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a bachelors degree in marketing. In addition to online publications, I blog about homeschooling, breast cancer (I am in recovery), and urban homesteading.

Writing about life experiences is what I do best. I have run several successful multilevel marketing businesses with Usborne Books and Discovery Toys. I currently run a crochet store on Etsy.

Yahoo! Sports was one of my favorite venues to write for. I wrote fan based articles about the New York Jets and NFL players.

I live on a small suburban lot in rural Arkansas with my husband and 4 boys. On our lot we raise fruits and vegetables. The "homestead" is shared by my family, 4 dogs and 31 chickens which provide an over abundance of eggs for us.
