Writer Biography
Tanya Savory has been an associate editor with Townsend Press for 17 years. She is the author of 27 books published by Townsend for young adults, and she has created content for numerous English/language arts textbooks and materials. In a previous career, Tanya was a singer/songwriter who recorded 3 CDs of original music for Rounder Records and toured small clubs nationally for a decade. She is also an avid runner (though her "fast" days are behind her now), and has run 22 marathons, including Boston twice!
